Do we have to wear lingerie, or can we wear chic glamorous outfits?
You wear whatever makes you feel radiant and empowered. Many guests choose structured power suits, silk slip dresses, bridal robes, or coordinated cocktail wear rather than traditional lingerie.
Is the Honey & Lace team all female?
Yes! Honey & Lace is an all-female team, and your comfort is incredibly important to us. Your Takeover is completely private, with the studio reserved just for your group while you’re with us. From helping with outfits to guiding you through every pose, you’ll be looked after by women who do this every day and know exactly how to make you feel comfortable, confident and fabulous.
What are the group size requirements for a private studio takeover?
Our studio takeover is designed for groups ranging from 3 up to 10 guests. Each person receives dedicated solo portrait time with our signature posing guidance, followed by celebratory group photo shoot.
Can we purchase more photographs or an album?
Absolutely! Your Takeover includes beautiful portraits to take home, but if you fall in love with more, you’ll have the opportunity to treat yourself to our gorgeous albums, wall art and digital portrait collections.
Planning a hen do? Our luxury albums make an incredible surprise for your groom-to-be.

Where is the studio located, and can we bring our own drinks or treats?
Our private luxury studio is centrally located in Retford. We supply complimentary mocktails on arrival, but you are also welcome to bring bespoke cupcakes, grazing platters, or your bridal party's favourite drinks.
